Suggested Use for Immediate Support Digestive Enzymes

Take 1 capsule up to 3 times daily. Take 1 capsule with the first bite of food/meal. For a heavy meal, take an additional capsule in the middle of the meal.

Some cramping and gassyness

Works well

This version of Flora's digestive enzymes works well for me. They have other versions with different combinations and amounts of enzymes, and I think they could name the different versions more intuitively. Immediate support, urgent support, advanced adult, daily maintenance. . . these names don't really convey the differences between them or offer insight into which version to choose. I ended up making a spreadsheet for comparing the different versions enzyme to enzyme, line by line. These are good products, though, and I'm a pretty happy user.
Btw, I used Rainbow Light's advanced enzyme system for years until it became unavailable. I liked that it included ginger and turmeric in its ingredients.

These pills come up a little short on assisting me w digestion. I still buprp up meat hour later after eating and taking a pill. I wish they had a little more punch, more quantity of ingredients or another added enzyme which may help it do its job better. Acid Smooth from a competing company which has some similar ingredients seems to help me better. Note: I will not take two pills when the directions clearly say to take one. Thank you.

In terms of protein-digesting power, Flora's Enzyme Blend has 2 types of protein digesting enzymes, with a total power of 62,500 Units for protein digestion.

Our Advanced Adult Enzyme Blend by comparison has 4 types of protein digesting enzymes, with a total power of 540,080 Units of protein digesting power.

Additionally, the more powerful formula has protein-digesting enzymes that are active not just in the 4.5 pH range, but in a much wider range from 3.0 pH to 6.0 pH. What that means for you is that the enzymes can continue to work on the food throughout its passing in your digestive tract, for more complete digestion.

The other product that you mentioned contains great soothing herbs, but while it is made by an enzyme company, you may be surprised to learn that that formula actually does not contain any protein digesting enzymes at all!

Because it does not contain enzymes, it would be safe to take with our product. Any when you're having a meal with a lot of meat, I would try the Advanced Adult formula, which is the highest in lipase and protease, for the most digestive support. I am positive, you'll be fine with one capsule.

Highly recommend if your lactose intolerant

I have literally tried so many products that claim they help with lactose intolerance with no success until trying this product! I am looking forward to enjoying dairy without all the side effects of my lactose intolerance. Miracle product!!!!

We do not have a dose for children since there are no studies done in that age group for reference. Therefore, it would be at your discretion as a parent or at the discretion and with the guidance of the child's healthcare practitioner. Our enzymes are always to be taken with meals, as well.
