Suggested Use for Sambu®Guard Elderberry Crystals
Adults: Dissolve 5 g (4 heaping scoops) crystals in water or other beverages. Take once daily. Children 5 years+: Dissolve 1.25 g (1 heaping scoop) crystals in water or other beverages. Take once daily. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition or are taking any medication, consult with your health care practitioner before use. Stop use if hypersensitivity/allergy occurs. Keep in dark places without direct sunlight. Store at room temperature. Replace the cap tightly after use as elderberry powder readily absorbs moisture when exposed to air. Security sealed for your protection. Do not use if seal is missing or damaged. Dishonest company

The expiration date of the two bottles of Elderberry Crystals I purchased on TWO different occasions had an expiration of 4/25 (same expiration of product that was heavily discounted with a 4/25 expiration) EVEN THOUGH I paid more for the product that was NOT heavily discounted and supposedly had a later expiration date.

Basically I bought bottles that were on sale ($22) and was sent bottles that were heavily discounted ($13) due to an earlier expiration date. Not once, but twice and both bottles each time.

Very simply made. But I wish the company would go back to making them in the 4.4 ounce bottles like they used to. It seems a bit much for a 1.7 ounce.

1- can I just put in a capsule? 2-how many milligrams in the serving size doses 4 heaping scoops?

The 4 scoop serving of our Elderberry Crystals is 5 grams, or 5000 mg. I would not recommend trying to encapsulate it yourself at home. The crystals are fairly sticky and like to absorb moisture from the air.
